Down The Hatch is an outdoor beach bar & grill located at Earl's Marina on West Island in Fairhaven, MA.
In 2006, Earl's Marina expanded upon its already-existent Deli Deck and transformed the eating area into Down The Hatch, our outdoor beach bar and restaurant.
Given our ideal location on the shores of Buzzards Bay, we focus our menu on the South Coast MA region's freshest local seafood.
Our signature lobster rolls are complemented nicely by stuffed quahogs, award-winning clam chowder, tuna salads, fish sandwiches, clam cakes, and more.
Don't forget about the summer staples, too - hamburgers, hot dogs, quesadillas, fries, and onion rings.
Keep cool with novelty ice creams and frappes, and for the kids, we keep an assortment of candies to take on the boat ride!
At night, come by and check out our live bands rocking the bar until midnight or later! We have designated dock slips and moorings to allow transient boaters to tie up and grab a bite and some cocktails.
